Who doesn’t respect and value his past, is not worth the honour of the present, and has no right to a future.

About This Quote

If you don’t respect your past, you cannot be proud of your present accomplishments. What is the point of working hard to get somewhere if you are not proud of where you are? If you don’t value what you do now, you could easily fall into a state of regret in the future. It leads to a sense of hopelessness and depression which can be very hard to overcome. Think about someone who has done nothing with their life.

They have never achieved anything at all. The only thing they can do is complain how unfair life is or that they could have done better.
